Acknowledging that each individual’s therapy process is unique. While one individual may like conversational therapy, another person may prefer to use journaling/writing, movement, art, or a combination of different therapy. A person who uses expressive therapy is not required to have any artistic ability at all. Each therapy is unique, and the use of each one is carefully considered by an expressive therapist. The use of each therapy is carefully determined by the strength, timing, pacing, and readiness of the individual in therapy.
Can I participate in more than one form of therapy?
Yes! You are more than welcome to utilize as many of the art therapies offered as you wish!
Will my insurance cover this kind of therapy?
While everyone's insurance is different, our team will work with you from the beginning to determine whether or not your insurance will cover the costs of therapy. If your insurance does not cover it, we will work with you individually to see if any accommodations can be made.
What is the cost of treatment?
Cost of services are dependent upon a number of factors, including (but not limited to): insurance coverage, type of insurance, ability to pay out of pocket, etc. However, no one will be turned away because of cost considerations. For those seeking stress management classes there is a fee of $10 per class. If you or a loved one are experiencing any of the symptoms listed on our front page, please contact us and someone from our offices will be in touch!
